Nat was a Leading Aircraftman on Beaufighters in 31 squadron
Nat was born on the 20th March 1922 in Maffra, Victoria.
He enlisted on the 6th June 1941 and was killed in Millingimbi in the Northern Territory on the 25th September 1943. At the time, Nat was part of the crew of a 31 Squdron Mark V1C Beaufighter, piloted by Flying Officer D.G Taylor, which crashed soon after takeoff on a non operational flight. All of the crew were killed. The photo is of Beaufighters with 32 Squadron.
Nat is buried at the Adelaide River War Cemetery (see photo) in the Northern Territory. Grave C.A.6. He was the son of Mr and Mrs C.L. beggs of Tunstall in Victoria.
